Worse yet, I gave them to my daughter who is too young to know about print quality and thus never complained , and she had to squint through volumes of this crappy print that totally ruined her eyesight, before I realized what was going on. Amazon--you need to do better than this! Beautiful covers and tough packaging. Bought these for my neices and nephews. I can read them but they are having trouble because the print on the pages.

Several are blurry like this and book 1 currently in my neices possession has several pages with light spots down the middle and you can barely make out the words. They keep bringing the books to us for help.

Haven't been into the other 4 books yet. I imagine they will be similar. Absolutely gorgeous collectors set. This is an absolutely beautiful set of the original British version of Harry Potter from Bloomsbury publishers.

I took a chance ordering these as there was the single stock photo and no customer photos when I purchased these. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived.

Every book has the original artwork dustcover and matching colour hardcover with the iconic HP stars embossed on the cover. The display box is actually well built and suited for this set; also embossed in gold with a dragon and HP flying on a broom on the back.

If you are a purist like myself you will definitely appreciate that this includes the Philosophers Stone, not the Americanized Sorcerers Stone. Overall great set for older fans or even as a gift to give to someone to get them into the series. By Sawyer on April 13, Pages missing from page 28 to 77! Great price, but it is all 7 books combined into one volume and one table of contents; which makes navigating to different books and chapters a bit more difficult than if they were 7 distinct books.

Books are printed incorrectly I'm missing about half of one of the books. Elle Top Contributor: Baby. I did a swell job of avoiding the fandom completely, until recently, when I decided it was time to move on with my life, and set out to read the series with the help of a qualified grief counselor.

I very nearly purchased them as ebooks, but then I saw this set. Really, truly pretty. Do I recommend the set? Do I recommend the books? Well let me ask you this: Is Game of Thrones too bloody for you? If yes, then no. If no, you enjoy the blood, and wish that GRRM kill even more beloved characters, then Harry Potter is probably the universe for you.

Enjoy yourself, you sadist! See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Translate all reviews to English. The books are great! However, the font is too small and if put to regular reading, the cover starts wearing off - mine did in a month for Order of Phoenix. Also, as the photo shows, one of the pages of the books is missing - Deathly Hallows, page Make sure you check once you've purchased the books!

Lol disappointed. The packaging is great and hey, you get a Nether Drake! One person found this helpful. This review is more for the Collector's edition, although the game itself is five stars, no doubt.

As far as Collector's Editions go, Blizzard has always done very well, and this is pretty much no exception. Packaged exactly like the WoW CE, this one fits nicely on the shelf next to it, and has the same cheap but cool felt on the inside holding everything in place.

The extras in this edition are pretty standard for Blizzard. The more they release for each of their three universes, the less you have to put on each one.

This one doesn't have very many features on it, but it is good, nonetheless. My advice: Wait until they do another offer for a free month of game play when you get someone else signed up. I like the original CE where we got to choose form three pets, give us back some options. Still anice coffee table book though for fans of the game. To the reviewer below who hasn't gotten their copy yet, I am sorry, but Amazon does get a lot of pre-orders for this, and they have no idea how many copies they will actually get to send out, which is why they cut off pre-orders early, but I hope you get your copy soon.

The launch has been smoother than I ever thought possible, so getting on and playing is pretty quick once you get it installed. When I ordered this, it said NEW. And when I got it in the mail opened it up to my disappointment the factory seal wasn't on the box, removed it from the shipping box and there was a sticker on the back of the box with a bar code and some numbers also with the word NEW on it. Slide the box apart to check the inside and see if everything was in it, but was disappointed yet again to find there was no bonus content dvd, no art book, and the trading cards were opened.

Never checked to see if the in game pet code worked I like to play WOW, and still I already own this expansion, so I don't know why I bought the collectors editions, I guess i was to much into the game that want to have everything If you are not a hardcore gamer of this game, just get the copy, and don't bother with this, is really expensive and the in-game items are not so good to pay for them Burning Crusade really added to the WoW experience, but tried too hard to it a variety of environments in a condensed area, and suffered the usual overtuning in the patches that WoW does.

If you are considering buying this as of my writing, odds are you only care about the collector's edition content. The soundtrack is definitely worth a listen and includes many tracks from pre 60 WoW.

The Neitherwelp is a must if you are one of those crazy pet completionists, though I hope there aren't many people who are still trying to collect all pets. It's really up to you if that is worth the purchase. The art book is fun and the making of DVD was interesting. It is undying. And it is enough. Highlighted by 8, Kindle readers. This spectacular adult coloring book features forty-five all-new illustrations! The pages practically turn themselves. Her use of historical detail and a truly adult love story confirm Gabaldon as a superior writer.

Absorbing and heartwarming, this first novel lavishly evokes the land and lore of Scotland, quickening both with realistic characters and a feisty, likable heroine. When Claire walks through a cleft stone in an ancient henge, she's somehow transported to Claire nurses young soldier James Fraser, a gallant, merry redhead, and the two begin a romance, seeing each other through many perilous, swashbuckling adventures involving Black Jack.

Scenes of the Highlanders' daily life blend poignant emotions with Scottish wit and humor. Eventually Sassenach outlander Claire finds a chance to return to , and must choose between distant memories of Frnak and her happy, uncomplicated existence with Jamie.

Claire's resourcefulness and intelligent sensitivity make the love-conquers-all, happily-ever-after ending seem a just reward. Doubleday Book Club main selection, Literary Guild alternate. But don't let the number of pages and the Scottish dialect scare you.

It's one of the fastest reads you'll have in your library. Once-in-a-lifetime romantic passion and graphically depicted torture sessions are only the two extremes of this lively time- travel romance set in 18th-century Scotland--an imaginative and lighthearted debut by a promising newcomer. World War II has finally ended and Claire Beauchamp Randall, a British Red Cross nurse, has gone off to Scotland with her historian husband, Frank, to try to resume their married life where it left off six years before.

Their diligent attempts to make a baby come to a halt, however, when Claire discovers an ancient stone circle on a nearby hilltop, slips between two mysterious- looking boulders, and is transported willy-nilly to the year Randall notes Claire's revealing 's summer dress, assumes she is a whore, and attempts to rape her, whereupon she is rescued by the fierce MacKenzie clan, who take her to their castle and confine her there.

Claire adjusts to her changed circumstances with amazing ease, using her nursing experience to tend to her hosts' illnesses while she impatiently awaits a chance to return to the circle of stones. Before she can get away, circumstances force her into a marriage with James Frazer, a Scottish renegade from English justice and Jonathan Randall's archenemy.

Young Jamie's good looks, passion, and virility soon redirect Claire's energies to defending her stalwart new husband against her former mate's evil clone, and the fierce, courageous but historically doomed Scottish clans against the course of destiny itself. A satisfying treat, with extra scoops of excitement and romance that make up for certain lapses in credibility.

The rain had eased to a faint drizzle that misted the air and spangled my eyelashes with rainbows when I looked at the flames. He sat staring into the fire for a long time. Finally he looked up at me, hands clasped around his knees. And I'd not ask ye now; but I must know, for your safety as well as mine.

Claire, are ye a witch? You -- you can really ask that? He wasn't. He took me by the shoulders and gripped me hard, staring into my eyes as though willing me to answer him.

And you must tell me! Would you still have fought for me? But may the Lord Jesus have mercy on my soul and on yours, tell me the truth! I tore myself out of his grasp and ran across the clearing. Not far, only to the edge of the trees; I could not bear the exposure of the open space. I clutched a tree; put my arms around it and dug my fingers hard into the bark, pressed my face to it and shrieked with hysterical laughter.

Jamie's face, white and shocked, loomed up on the other side of the tree. With the dim realization that what I was doing must sound unnervingly like cackling, I made a terrific effort and stopped. Panting, I stared at him for a moment. To you, I must be. I've never had smallpox, but I can walk through a room full of dying men and never catch it. I can nurse the sick and breathe their air and touch their bodies, and the sickness can't touch me. I can't catch cholera, either, or lockjaw, or the morbid sore throat.

And you must think it's an enchantment, because you've never heard of vaccine, and there's no other way you can explain it. I know when he was born and when he'll die, I know about what he's done and what he'll do, I know about Sandringham because He knew about Randall because he I know But he thought I knew who Hamish's father is I thought maybe it was you, but then I knew it couldn't be, and I haven't any people, I haven't any history, because I haven't happened yet.

I knew my hair was wild and my eyes staring, and I didn't care. Do you hear me? Nearly two hundred years from now! Do you hear? Don't you? Admit it! That's what you think. You have to think so, there isn't any other way you can explain me to yourself. You can't believe me, you can't dare to.

Oh, Jamie All this time spent hiding the truth, realizing that I could never tell anyone, and now I realized that I could tell Jamie, my beloved husband, the man I trusted beyond all others, and he wouldn't -- he couldn't believe me either. The standing stones. Merlin's stones. That's where I came through. It's always two hundred years, in the stories. The subjective judgment of the degree of the significance of the change made with the new iteration or the perceived marketing advantage of designating the new iteration as a specific number determines how the new iteration is numbered.

Therefore, the designation "revised edition" does not designate any quality or quantity of revision with certainty. When a non-fiction book is first published it sometimes instigates more research on its subject. The author may determine that new information justifies the revision of the book. A new iteration of the book would be published as a new edition, which may be denominated a "revised and updated edition".

However, as with the denomination of "revised edition", the use of "revised and updated edition" manifests only the subjective choice of the publisher, which may be different from the publisher of a previous "revised edition" of the same work. The basic definition of a co-edition is when two publishing houses publish the same edition of a book or equivalent versions of an edition, for example, translated versions , simultaneously or near-simultaneously, usually in different countries.

English and American editions may differ in spelling , and they sometimes have different titles. Some examples:. The motivation for co-editions has often been to use the existing distribution systems of the different publishers in each country rather than establishing new distribution systems.

Advancing IT and the globalization of publishing have been blurring the lines of what co-edition means. For example, anything published online is effectively published worldwide. Also, large multinational publishers now have existing distribution systems for their hardcopy books in many countries, so they don't need to partner with other companies. They may issue a book under a different imprint for each country, but the imprints are parts of the same parent corporation.

The actual manufacturing of the books may be done in China regardless of where the copies will be sold. The term e-dition , a play on the e- for-electronic prefix , has been used by various publishers to refer to various ideas, which include:. A library edition may appear to be the same as copies appearing in shops and almost certainly uses the same setting. However, the binding and hinges are made extra strong to allow for the greater wear and tear in library books. This is analogous to the "police and taxi" packages for automobiles, in which heavier brakes and other upgrades are made to withstand harsher-than-standard use and longer duty cycles.

A popular book is sometimes re-issued under the imprint of a book club. Often it is a new setting and with cheaper paper and binding. Any photographic illustrations in the original are either absent or reduced in number. Book club editions are sold to members at a good discount compared with the original issue price.

After a book has exhausted the market at the high original price a publisher may issue a cheap edition themselves or sell the rights on to another publisher who will produce the book. A cheap edition typically uses a low-cost paper and is a paperback but they can be hardback. Also typically the size of the font is reduced to fit more words on a page to reduce the overall cost of the book. Naturally, for a cheap edition the author will receive a lower royalty but that may be compensated for by a greater volume of sales.

During the peak of the British Empire , cheap editions of novels published in Britain would often be produced for sale in the colonies before other editions of the books were sold.

I'm a collector and huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series. Once I did some research, I knew that this game and it's book was getting pre-ordered! After receiving both of these gorgeous gems, I must say that I'm completely enamored! Bethesda did not disappoint on their game play, and Prima came through on this guide. It's thorough, beautifully made, and laid out in a fashion where anything you may need can be found. The beautiful hard-bound cover is gorgeous to look at, and the bonus bookmark has already come in handy.

In the past, Взято отсюда used sticky notes, and by the time everything is said and done, the guide is a colorful place. You need this book! It covers everything you could possibly want to know about the game, and now includes all of the expansions!

It starts off with the basics of character creation and the strengths of every race and their abilities. It goes through each of the skills and how they're leveled you have to actually hit something with that fireball spell to level your destruction; casting it into space doesn't work. It covers every quest in the game, and I bet you'll flip through it and find a quest you've never known existed, even though you've played hours over the course of the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game and soon to be PSVR, which this will work for too.

I know I personally did. One thing I didn't know I'd learn from this book is at the end- the achievements. There is an achievement for getting all 15 Daedric artifacts, and there is one Daedric quest reward that I thought was a Daedric artifact that counted toward the total, but it's not! Book collector edition free turns out the Rueful Axe from Clavicus Vile is only one way to complete the quest, and it doesn't count toward the achievement.

I would have never known that without looking book collector edition free the achievements guide in this book. And yes, it does cover the achievements for the expansions to the game. The bookmark is a nice touch. I want to laminate mine so that I can keep it forever. The included map is huge.

It is too big to actually use unless you frame it in a light, two-sided poster frame. I use the maps in the book instead. And there are a lot of them, all annotated and easy to read. If you're one of the thousands of people who love Skyrim and can't get enough of it, even if you think you've seen everything the game has to offer, this book is for you. You'll likely find things you never knew existed, book collector edition free even if you don't, it's a fun read to review quests you've already done to remember your adventures.

This is an absolute must-buy for any Skyrim fan. You get it straight adobe premiere pro cs5 presets free the people who know it, and it's information you can book collector edition free. All you have to do is look in the table of contents or better yet, the easy-to-use index. Plus, it deserves a spot on your bookshelf next to your other collector's items. By Zero Ehxe on August 10, Book collector edition free surprised at how much information is in this Guide.

So I have quite a bit of knowledge book collector edition free the game. I'd guess I have at least hours in this game. The book has shown me so many things that even I didn't know about. As far as guide books продолжить, this one is about as perfect as you can get without using the internet. As far as books in узнать больше and collectors items are concerned, it's very cool.

Amazing book, just to read it is great. However it has has saved me so much time playing and helping me get through quests. I am no pro like my son but I love to play this game so I got the book. I use it all the time and have learned so much about the world of Book collector edition free. It is in full color, laid out well.

Has more information than I will ever use. I keep it right next to my LOTR collectors edition and it looks great. What a great deal for the price. If you have never played Skyrim this book will make you want to play. I couldn't believe how thick this guide was for how much I spent on it! It's almost a little overwhelming. I can't fault the guide for being book collector edition free little difficult to follow, since the game itself is so expansive.

There's so much detail book collector edition free so many people and places and options in terms of triggering events and book collector edition free order in which you do things that it can sometimes be hard to figure out what to even look up in the index to be able to find the right section of the guide.
